I moved to Greenville from Chicago in Apr ’23 knowing I wanted to start a new and used bookstore but didn’t know where, nor did I have the funding. My dad called me one day with the idea of a book truck and things took off from there. With some help from friends, I bought a truck on Marketplace, cleaned it out and painted the inside, built the bookshelves and got to work pricing and shelving before my first event in Oct ’23. Slowly, with a lot of emails and Instagram messages, I am building up a network of markets and venues, as well as a devoted following on Instagram and Facebook of customers who come see me whenever they can!
